The ambience of the Clissold Arms is what makes this pub a truly unique experience with five distinct areas (main Restaurant, Kinks' Room, covered Terrace, the Shed and our Garden). This gives us both flexibility and scope to match our customers’ demands, both formal and informal. Our popular large al fresco Garden (which can cater for up to 120 people), is an ideal space to relax and unwind, particularly on warm evenings – a perfect getaway from London’s busy lifestyle!
If there was ever a beauty contest for a Garden when fully-lit in the evening, then the Clissold Arms would be a match for anybody.
Our Terrace is covered and centrally-heated in winter and becomes another al fresco dining area in the summer. The Terrace is our most popular event space as it is both private and adaptable. The Shed is our newest addition and is a smaller private dining room. Our Kinks' Room is themed to match our historical association with the local famous rock band, The Kinks – the two Davies brothers lived directly opposite, and they held their 1st official gig here in December 1960, and their last gig in June 1996. Today, this room is adorned with Kinks memorabilia and is the pride of Kinks fans from all over the world.
The Clissold Arms has continually sought to build strong and meaningful relationships with customers and groups from the local community.
Opening every day from breakfast till late, allows us to do this. We listen carefully to the constantly changing needs of our customers and have adapted our facility to meet these requests.
The pudding, they say, is in the eating, and the Clissold Arms is a finely baked, multi-layered cake.
Come and try some!
